Impressive syndication sees Trafigura increase back-up facility to $2.3bn

In what has been a highly successful syndication over the past two weeks, Trafigura has successfully closed the syndication of its back-up multi-currency revolving credit facility with a final amount of $2.3 billion-equivalent. The result is a significant increase in the initial underwritten amount of $1.2 billion-equivalent which was announced earlier this month as the commodity trader went to the market to find much needed additional liquidity.
