This whitepaper builds on our Meeting the EV challenge: Responsible sourcing in the electric vehicle battery supply chain publication first published in 2018 and presents an update on Trafigura’s proposals for managing the cobalt supply chain challenge posed by the continued rapid increase in demand for the raw materials for lithium-ion batteries used for electric vehicles and portable electronics.
